Releaseo events become first-class PostHog events. Here's how to get value out of them.

A "release impact" funnel

Step 1: releaseo:post_viewed (filtered to your launch post)
Step 2: app:feature_used (your own product event)
Step 3: app:purchase (your conversion event)

The funnel tells you: of users who saw the launch post, what % tried the feature, and what % converted.

Retention by post

Set a retention insight with releaseo:post_viewed as the cohort criterion. PostHog will show week-over-week retention of users who saw a given release.

Idea-to-shipping correlation

Cohort: users who triggered releaseo:idea_voted
Compare with: users who didn't
Metric: 30-day retention

Voters typically retain 2–3x better. Your roadmap is a retention tool.
