Roles and permissions

Three roles

  • Owner. Full access including billing, plan changes, and team management. Every org has at least one.

  • Admin. Everything except billing and team management. Most of your team should be Admin.

  • Editor. Can write changelog posts, roadmap items, help articles, and ideas. Cannot change settings or integrations.

  • Viewer. Read-only access to the dashboard.

Changing roles

Open Settings → Team, click the role next to a teammate's name, pick a new one. Takes effect immediately.

Project-level overrides

Coming soon: per-project role overrides so you can have a teammate who's Admin on one project and Editor on another.
