Configure your first project

Guide

A project is everything we ship under one widget — your changelog, roadmap, help center, and ideas.

Create a project

Open Settings → Projects → New project. Give it a name (your product name works), pick a slug (used in URLs), and choose a brand color.

Set the default audience

By default, every changelog post is shown to all users. You can override per post, or change the default in Settings → Audience.

Recommended starting point: all users for the first month, then narrow once you have segmentation traits.

Default widget position

Bottom-right is the most-clicked spot. Stick with it unless your UI already has something there.

Brand color and theme

The widget inherits your brand color out of the box. For deeper customization, head to Customize the widget.

You're done

Open the widget on your site. You should see your wordmark, your brand color, and an empty changelog ready for its first post.
