Release a roadmap item (and link the changelog)
Releasing a roadmap item is more than dragging a card. It's where you close the loop with your users.
Two steps
Open the item, click Release, pick the changelog post that announces it.
The widget now shows the item as ✅ Released, with a button to read the post.
What customers see
The item card moves to the Released column.
A green check appears.
A "Read announcement →" CTA opens the changelog post inline.
Auto-publish behavior
If the linked changelog post was still a draft, hitting Release publishes it. The roadmap release date and the changelog publish date stay in sync.
Bulk releasing
Shipping a multi-feature release? You can link multiple roadmap items to one changelog post — useful for monthly roundups.
