Triage ideas — votes, comments, statuses
The triage loop
Every Friday (or your cadence), spend 15 minutes in the Ideas tab:
Sort by votes. Loud ideas first.
Read comments. That's where the use case lives.
Set a status. "In review", "Planned", "Won't do", or merge into an existing idea.
Reply. A short comment from your team converts the requester into an advocate.
Statuses
New — fresh, untriaged.
In Review — your team is considering it.
Planned — confirmed, on the roadmap. Move the idea onto the roadmap from the menu.
In Progress — being built. Visible to voters.
Released — shipped. Linked to a changelog post.
Won't do — decided against. Always reply with the reason.
Linking to the roadmap
The "Move to roadmap" action creates a new roadmap item pre-filled from the idea, links them, and copies all the votes and followers. Voters get notified when the roadmap item changes status.
