Static data (user attributes)
Manage the reusable lists used across Releaseo, and review your audience fields and audience groups, from the Static data page.
Static data (sidebar → Audience → Static data) is where you keep the reusable options that other parts of Releaseo offer in their dropdowns, and where you review the audience fields and audience groups your project has collected. The page subtitle reads: "Manage reusable statuses, categories, trigger types, and audience fields for release communication."
The page is organized as tabs.
Reusable option lists
These six tabs hold options you create and control:
Tab | Used for |
|---|---|
Changelog status | Status labels for changelog posts |
Categories | Categories for changelog and announcement posts |
Feature request categories | Categories for feature requests |
Label categories | Label groups for roadmap items |
Trigger types | Types for notification triggers |
Trigger categories | Categories for notification triggers |
Options you add become available wherever the list is offered. For example, you need at least one active option under Trigger types before you can create notification triggers.
Add an option
Open the tab for the list you want.
Select Add option.
Fill in the Value (the stored identifier, for example
fix) and the Label (what people see, for example "Bug Fix"). Description is optional.Pick a Color. On Changelog status you can also set an Icon URL.
Turn Active on or off, and Default if this option should be preselected.
Select Create.
The table shows each option's label, value, status and color. In the row menu (Actions for the option) you can Edit, Disable or Enable, and Delete it. Disabling is the gentler choice if you only want to stop offering an option.
You need the Static data manage permission to add or change options. Without it the controls are disabled.
Audience fields
The Audience fields tab is read-only. It lists the user attributes (user properties) available for targeting, with each field's Key, Data type, Source and Status.
Fields with source auto are collected by Releaseo, such as Last Seen, Country, Browser, OS, Device Type, First Seen, User ID, Email and Name.
Fields with source custom appear when your site sends them as traits through
identify()in the SDK.
If the list is empty you will see "Fields appear here once the SDK sends user traits." Use these fields as conditions when you build audiences.
Audience groups
The Audience groups tab lists the audience groups (saved segments) in your project, with their Conditions, Audience, Status and Last updated. A group is Draft, Published or Archived.
From a group's menu you can:
Preview audience to see who it matches.
Publish a draft group.
Delete a group (not available for protected groups).
You create groups on the Users page by choosing Save segment. See "Create audience segments" for the full flow. If the tab is empty, the page says to save a set of conditions on the Users page.
