Why it matters

Charging for software used to mean a checkout page on one tool, a billing portal on another, a spreadsheet for receipts, and a Slack thread to fix anything that broke. Not anymore. Your product and your billing now live in the same dashboard, which means fewer tabs, fewer tools, and fewer surprises.
